Mrs. Mary Ann Hutyra Nors, 70, of Hillsboro died February 28, 1995, at a local hospital. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Edens Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro with Rev. A.J. LaFleur, O.S.A. officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Rev. A. J. LaFleur as celebrant. Interment will be at Fatima Cemetery near Abbott. Born July 23, 1924, in West, she was the daughter of Frank Hutyra and Annie Mashek Hutyra. She grew up in Hill County and married Joe John Nors on February 11, 1946. She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Hutyra, Jr., and one sister, Lucille Urbanovsky. She was a member of KJZT Lodge #105 in Hillsboro and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Survivors include her husband, Joe J. Nors of Hillsboro; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Billy Joe and Nina Nors and Tommy and Annette Nors of Hillsboro; two grandsons, William Nors and Bobby Nors of Hillsboro; two granddaughters, Shelly Nors and Kristi Nors of Hillsboro; one sister-in-law, Rosalie Hutyra of West, and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be William Nors, Edward Hutyra, Don Lassiter, Edward Smajstrla, Rick Smajstrla and Ray Doskocil. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Sherek and Royce Trimble.
