Last Rites Held Monday For Mrs. Frank Marek Mrs. Frank (Mary) Marek, 67, died Saturday morning at her home in West. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. George Doskocil and Rev. W. Pechal as celebrants. Burial was in Fatima Cemetery at Abbott. Mrs. Marek was born in Fayette County. She lived in Penelope for 45 years before moving to West five years ago. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption. Survivors include four sons, Frank Marek of West, Joe Marek of Penelope, Leon Marek of Bellmead and Eugene Marek of Mesquite; four daughters, Mrs. Rufus (Albina) Howard of Penelope, Mrs. Frank (Willie Mae) Skerik of Abbott, Mrs. Albin (Josephine) Kallus of Abbott and Mrs. Alphonse (Leona) Kolar of Penelope; two step-daughters, Miss Mary Marek of Dallas and Miss Lillie Marek of West; one sister, Mrs. Jim Ghyton of West, and 20 grandchildren.
