Bio

Ida May Mills was born in Aquilla, Hill County, Texas on October 21, 1879 to Thomas Benton Mills and Nancy Elizabeth Ferguson. She married Shelburn H. "Shel" Petty May 15, 1898 in Limestone County. She died July 19, 1933 in Limestone County and was buried in Armour Cemetery, West Section. A brother, Leroy Jefferson Mills is buried in the West Section, also. I believe Claudy Petty , also buried in the West Section of the cemetery, is the son of Shelburn and Ida, but cannot confirm the relationship.
