Charles Alphaeus (Alphus) Mills, was born Mar. 29, 1884 in Hill County, Texas to Thomas Benton Mills and Nancy ELizabeth Ferguson Mills. He died June 29, 1930, age 46, in Thornton, Texas, his home for two years. Charlie was survived by his wife, Ila Wilson Mills. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ora Hodges Mills in 1925.
