Reuben Kemp's first wife. They were probably married in 1784 shortly after Reuben's service in Clark's Expedition was over. She and Reuben had nine children, six sons and three daughters. Their children were, Virginia Jane, Samuel, Phoebe, Mary, Charles, William, Reuben Jr., Polly Ann, Jesse and Henry Kemp. Her grave is probably on or close to the land Reuben Kemp owned in Hardin County, Kentucky which I believe today lies within the Fort Knox Compound. There would be no marker after all these years so the exact location is known but to God. Rest in peace Grandmother.
