Patricia B. "Bea" McDaniel, 74, of Findlay, Illinois, died at 5:05 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 1998, in St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur Illinois. Mrs. McDaniel was born in Durant, Oklahoma on August 10, 1923, the daughter of Miles Phillip and Louise Neal Hurst. She was a member of VFW Women's Auxiliary of Findlay. She married Graden McDaniel on November 20, 1943; he preceded her in death on February 17, 1991. Her survivors included her brothers, Robert D. Hurst (& wife Johnnie) of Lamarque TX, Joseph C. Hurst (& wife Betty) of Independence KA; sister-in-law, Hazel Jean Crawford of Champaign IL; stepson-in-law, Bob Hubbartt (& wife Rita) of Shelbyville IL; step-grandchildren, Deborah Carr and Robin Bear, both of Findlay; Bill Hubbartt of Shelbyville; and eight step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Ruth Hubbartt; her sister Mary Gomez; and step-great-grandchild Zachary.
