Robert D. Hurst LA MARQUE - Robert D. Hurst, 87, of. La Marque passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Mainland Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at the funeral home. Mr. Hurst was born March 18, 1916, in Kingsland, Arkansas. He was a retired master mechanic for the Galveston Wharf Co. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge AF&AM, the El Mina Shrine and Scottish Rite bodies. Survivors include his son Donald A. Bolin, of Sugarland, Texas; and daughter Beverly J. Wagner and husband Richard Wagner Sr., of Sugarland, Texas; a brother Joseh Hurst; grandchildren Donnie Bolin Jr., Richard Wagner, Jr. and Andrea Wagner.
