Bio

Graden "Mac" McDaniel, 80, of Sullivan, Illinois, formerly of Findlay IL, died at 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, February 17, 1991, in St. Marys Hospital of Decatur IL. He was born on April 2, 1910 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Phillip and Hazel Seeley McDaniel. In 1936, he married Ruth Richardson with whom he fathered a daughter. Following Ruth's death, he married Patricia B. Hurst in 1943. Mr. McDaniel was a Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 409 of Findlay IL. Predeceased by his first wife, Ruth; their daughter A. Ruth McDaniel Hubbart; his parents; and two brothers, he was  survived by his second wife, Patricia B. "Bea" Hurst McDaniel; one sister, Hazel Crawford of Champaign IL; his son-in-law, Robert Hubbart of Shelbyville IL; three grandchildren, Debbie Carr and Robin Bear, both of Findlay IL; Bill Hubbart of Shelbyville IL ; and seven great-grandchildren.
