McKinney, Texas --Mrs. Nettie Lindsey Dies At Home Here: Mrs. Nettie Lindsey, aged 28 years, 2 months and 8 days, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. C. D. Ford, corner of Oak and White Streets, Monday morning at 4:50 o'clock following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held at the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev J. Sam Barcus assisted by Dr. E. B. Fincher. Burial was made in Forest Grove Cemetery. Deceased is survived by several children. ............................................................ (Note) Nettie (Morrison) Lindsey is buried close to the Ford's plot in Fitzhugh Cemetery at Forest Grove [broken stones found] ....Nettie's mother, Lena was married to a Ford, which was her 3rd marriage.} A lot of these stones were broken in the area where Nettie was buried, one had the name Ford on it. This is the location several have said she was buried but there are no records of the burial plot, just a burial record stating she was buried in Fitzhugh Cemetery at Forest Grove. A daughter & son wanted to place a monument but couldn't find a record of the exact burial plot. Some of her favorite blue dishes were placed on her grave by her husband, H. R. Lindsey at the time of her burial. In the picture, Nettie is holding her son, J. W. Lindsey.
