Wichita Falls (TX) Newspaper, July 13, 1963: Holliday woman dies in hospital, Mrs. Colean Vandergriff, 50, a resident of Holliday for about 38 years died at 5 a.m. Friday in a Wichita Falls hospital following an illness. A native of Whitewright, Texas, she was born November 6, 1913. Survivors include her husband, L. D. Vandergriff ; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Fullmer of Iowa Park ; two granddaughters, Mary Jo and Donna Ann Fullmer ; three sisters, Mrs. Jettie Sampley of Iowa Park , Mrs. Virgie Lewallen of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mrs. Myrtle Adams of Houston ; two brothers, J. W. Lindsey of Wylie and Roscoe Lindsey of Hendrix, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 2 p.m. in Owens - Brumley Funeral home with Wayne Duck of the Holliday Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Holliday Cemetery. ..........................................................
