Mrs. Clara Cook Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Cook, 77, of Holiday Hill, Lake Palestine, were held Sunday, February 12, at 2:30 p.m. Friday, in Hassell & Foster Chapel, in Palestine, with Elder Jim Graves and the Rev. George Folmar Officiating. Burial was in the Old Bethel Cemetery, near Frankston. Pallbearers were Jim Killebrew, Curtis Redding, Paul Redding, Jimmie Fail, Raymond Lindsey, Carter Eggen, Lynn Ray, and Brad Sewell. She was born December 6, 1906, in Texas, a daughter of Dan Redding and Orn Thomas Redding. Mrs. Cook died Thursday, February 9, in her home following a sudden illness. A resident of Holiday Hill for the past 15 years, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the widow of Oca Cook, who preceded her in death on March 10, 1983. Survivors include three brothers, W.M. Redding, of Brazoria, Ben P. Redding, of Frankston, and A.E. Redding of Greenville; a sister, Nancy Killebrew, of Frankston; and nieces and nephews..
