MRS. JEWELL REDDING JONES Mrs. Jewell Redding Jones of Arcadia died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday in a Jacksonville hospital following a long illness. She was 60. Funeral services are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hassell & Foster Chapel here with the Rev. George Folmar and the Rev. Jack Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Wofford Cemetery at Frankston. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The body will be at Hassell & Foster until after chapel rites. The family is to receive condolence calls the O. H. Cook residence at Holiday Hill, Frankston. Mrs. Jones, the former Willie Jewell Redding, was born in the Ulmer community of Henderson County on February 14, 1913, a daughter of the late William Daniel Redding and Mrs. Nora Thomas Redding. A Baptist, she was reared in Henderson and Anderson Counties. She moved to Galveston in 1942 and was employed in the home office of American National Insurance Company for 30 years until retiring due to ill health. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Jones of Arcadia; a stepson, Frank Ronald Jones of Lincoln, Illinois; three brothers, W.M. Redding of Oakwood, Ben Redding of Frankston and Alfred Redding of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Oca H. (Clara) Cook of Frankston and Mrs. J.B. (Nancy) Killebrew of Palestine; three step-children; four nephews and one niece. From The Frankston Citizen *****************
