Bio

From the Athens Weekly Review Newspaper dated June 22, 1939 --- BURIAL AT WOFFORD CEMETERY FOR VICTIM 0F TRUCK ACCIDENT --- Funerial services were held on Wednesday afternoon at the Wofford cemetery near Frankston for W.D. Redding, 53, well known farmer, who suffered fatal injuries while leaving a truck near his home last Saturday. Redding died Thursday afternoon in a hospital at Jacksonville where he had been under treatment since the accident. In climbing from the vehicle on which he was riding, Redding slipped underneath it and the wheels passed over his body. Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Ocie Cook of Frankston, Mrs. J.B. Kinnebrew of Palestine, and Miss Jewell Redding of Sherman; three sons, W.M. Redding of Sherman, B.P. Redding of Palestine, A.E. Redding of Frankston; three brothers, J.B. Redding of Houston, Arch and Charles Redding of Timpson; two sisters, Mrs. Will Rowen of Henderson and Mrs. Wes Weldon of Dallas. - joseph lilly Added: Aug. 25, 2008
