Bio

Mrs. Catherine Zeleski, 75, died May 13, 1975, at her home in Ord. Funeral services will be Friday May 16, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord with Rev. Stanley Gorak officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Elyria. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at Ord Memorial Chapel. Catherine was born Sept. 5, 1899, in Valley County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Gregorski. In August of 1925 Catherine was married to Walter Wojtazewski. He died thirty days after their marriage. She married Thomas Paprocki on Oct. 12, 1926, at Elyria. After marriage they made their home on a farm west of Elyria. Mr. Paprocki died December 9, 1958. Catherine married Joe Zeleski Aug. 11, 1960, at Grand Island. After marriage they lived on a farm west of Farwell until July 1, 1965 when they moved to Ord. She was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. Survivors include her husband; two sons, John Paprocki of Elyria and Joe Paprocki of Ord; three daughters, Mrs. Francis Karwacki of Chicago, Mrs. Matilda Polak of Ord, and Mrs. Dommine Michalski of Ord; stepsons, James Paprocki of Pel Lake, WI, and Edmund Paprocki of Chicago9; step-daughter, Mrs. Angleina Lisawski of Des Plaines, IL.; five other step-sons, Leo Zeleski of Delaware, Ed, Ignac and Zigmund Zeleski of Lexington, Paul Zeleski of Loup City and Raymond Zeleski of Chapman; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Smolik of Burwell. Preceding her in death were her parents, two former husband, one daughter, one brother and two grandchildren.
