Ashton Herald, July 31, 1925 Friday, p.4 News of the sad death of Walter Woitaszewski at the hospital in Grand Island Tuesday morning at about 3 a.m. following an operation for appendicitis and ulcers of the stomach was sadly received here. Mr. Woitaszewski was a son of Lawrence Woitaszewski and wife old settlers here and was united in marriage about 3 or 4 weeks ago to a young lady from Elyria. The funeral was held Friday forenoon July 31st from the St. Francis church of this city, Rev. A. Jarzemski conducting the services and the body laid to rest in the St. Francis cemetery south of town.
