From the Bryan-College Station (TX) Eagle , Sunday, February 5, 1978, p. 3A: Funeral services for Mr. Willie W. Boriskie, 65, of 713 Broadmoor, will be Monday, Feb. 6, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the College Station Cemetery, with the Rev. Duane Florschuetz officiating. Mr. Boriskie died Saturday morning at a Houston hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1912, in Bryan and lived in Bryan all his life. He worked for the Engineering Extension Service at Texas A&M University and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Survivors include his son, Richard Boriskie of Austin; two brothers, Theodore Boriskie and Robert O. Boriskie, both of Bryan; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. (Rosalie) Brewster of Bryan and Mrs. W. T. (Harrie) Smith of Orange; and one grandchild.
