Frances 'Rosalie' Stevenson Brewster Dec. 14, 1905 - June 29, 2005 Services for Frances "Rosalie" Stevenson Brewster, 99, of Bryan are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. The Rev. Matt Idom of First United Methodist Church in Bryan will officiate. Burial will be at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Brewster died Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Philathea Sunday school class and the Phythian Sisters Lodge 78 of Bryan. She also was a member of AARP. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Brooke Stevenson Jr. and A.J. Brewster. Survivors include a son, John Brooke Stevenson of Bryan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and James B. Kluge of Alvin and Cherry and John L. Woodyard of Bryan; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
