From the Bryan-College Station (TX) Daily Eagle , Monday, December 16, 1974, p. 6A: Funeral services for Carl John Boriskie, 22, of 713 Broadmoor, Bryan will be held Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gordon Albers of Bethel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in College Station Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Boriskie died Monday morning in a local hospital. He was born March 2, 1952 in San Diego, California and had been a resident of Brazos County since 1960. He was an employe of Fed Mart. He was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church. Survivors include one brother, Richard Boriskie of Austin and his father, Mr. W. W. Boriskie of Bryan. Pallbearers include Jeff Brown, Mike Lambrect, Fred Whiddon, Brooke Stevenson, Theodore L. Boriskie, Mike Boriskie, Barry Boriskie, Roy Boriskie.
