Published in The Daily Oklahoman (Oklahoma City OK); Thursday, June 02, 2011; Page 13 Robert Graham Hervey died at home in Oklahoma City on May 30, 2011, following an extended illness. He was born to Edwin E. and Merle Hervey. He married wife, Ramona on June 1, 1971. Robert retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1977, then as Chief of Police for the Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals, retiring in 1992. Robert was an avid golfer and OU fan as well as other sports. He was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, a sister, and a grandson. Family members include his wife Ramona; children Dr. Cynthia Mackey, Michael Hervey and wife Judy, Danny Hervey, Cynthia McGowen and husband Darwin, and Michael Slayton; grandchildren Angela, Sarah Jean, and Cody; two great-grandchildren; a sister; and two brothers. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 2727 SW 119th Street, Oklahoma City, with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
