Josef "Joe" Holub was born on Jan. 17, 1872 in Praha, Texas to Kaspar Holub and Veronika Suster Holub. Siblings included: Maria "Mary" Holub (Migl) - b. 4-29-1859, d. 6-17-1909 Katerina "Catherine" Holub (Kubenka) - b. 2-26-1864, d. 8-6-1947 Anna Holub (Brosch) - b. 3-11-1867, d. 7-11-1954 twins Karel "Charlie" Holub - b. 1-26-1870 Karolina "Carrie" - b. 1-26-1870, d. 1-28-1953 twin Josefa "Sophie" Holub (Pastusek) - b. 1-17-1872, d. 3-15-1966 On Oct. 15, 1895 he married Marie "Mary" Mikulik at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Praha, Texas.
