Bio

Carl LaRue, age 87, of Austonio, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2005 at his residence. He was born April 25, 1918 in Houston County, TX and was a lifetime resident of the area. Mr. LaRue was retired from C.B.I., where he worked as an assistant foreman. He was a member of the Ash Church of Christ. Survivors include wife, Freddie LaRue of Austonio; sons Larry LaRue and wife Anna Beth of Salem, Arkansas, Carl Derald LaRue and wife, Melanie of Spring Branch, Ronald LaRue and wife Suzie of Austonio. Preceded in death by son Donnie LaRue in 1983. Funeral services for Carl LaRue were held Monday, June 13 at 2 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Mr. Mike Cook, Mr. Harold Stephens, and the Rev. Scott Matthews officiating. Internment followed in the Boggs Cemetery.
