T.W. LaRue, Jr, age 97, March 11, 2021 at his home. Mr. LaRue was born September 5, 1923 in Austonio to parents, Thomas Wilson LaRue, Sr. and Aley Cheairs. T. W. served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and worked as a boilermaker until his retirement. He was a member of Austonio Volunteer Fire Department and served as Chief in 1985. T. W. loved ranching and tending to his cows and was a member of Austonio Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by wife, Arlene LaRue; son, Thomas LaRue, III; parents, Tom and Aley LaRue; 5 brothers and 1 sister. CALLAWAY-ALLEE FUNERAL HOME Funeral services for T. W. LaRue, age 97, of Austonio, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in the Austonio Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Boggs Cemetery. CALLAWAY-ALLEE FUNERAL HOME
