funeral mass for Frank Polak, 91, of Houston, Texas will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1416 George St., Rosenberg, Texas. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Fr. William D. Bartniski will officiate the services. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Frank was born May 12, 1919 in Wallis to Frank Polak and Victoria Macha Polak. Frank loved fishing, especially in Galveston Bay, playing dominos and gardening. He enjoyed building things such as a boat and various additions to his home. Frank was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Houston. He was also a member of the K.J.T. Frank passed away April 19, 2011 in Houston. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Hadjik Polak; parents, Frank and Victoria Polak, Sr.; son, Larry Polak; his twin sister, Annie Schiller; sisters, Mary Nesvadba Hybner and Martha Grigar; and brothers, Charlie, Ed and Raymond Polak. Frank is survived by his children, Gene Polak, Annette Schmidt and husband, Bill and James Polak and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Amy Schmidt, Ryan Schmidt, Emma Polak, Nicholas Polak and Christopher Polak, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
