Sherrell Wayne Williams 1912 - 2002 Sherrell Wayne Williams, 90, a retired tool engineer supervisor, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Wednesday in Bethlehem Cemetery, Whitney. Sherrell Williams was born Aug. 16, 1912, in Whitney. He retired from General Dynamics in 1970 after 25 years of service. He was a cattle rancher in Arkansas for 10 years. He married Norma Jean Walling on Christmas Eve 1933 and had been blessed with 68 years of marriage. After retirement, Sherrell and Norma moved to Arkansas where they raised cattle, farmed and enjoyed the country. They moved back to the Fort Worth area in 1983. Survivors: Wife of 68 years, Norma Jean Williams of Fort Worth; sons, Sherrell Williams Jr. of Wichita, Kan., and Jerry Williams and his wife, Sandy, of Pineville, La.; daughter, Charlotte Skinner and husband, Weldon, of Arlington; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
