Fort Worth Star Telegram Monday, September 19, 2005 Norma Jean Williams 1913 - 2005 Norma Jean Williams, 91, a retired nurse, a wonderful mother, grandmother and a loving wife, died Saturday Sept. 17, 2005, in Arlington. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Bethlehem Cemetery, Whitney. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Moore Funeral Home Bowen Road Chapel. Norma was born March 3, 1914, in Mart. She married Sherrell Williams on Christmas Eve, 1933. After a life of rearing children in Springtown, nursing in Fort Worth, farming and ranching in Arkansas and home remodeling in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas, Norma enjoyed sharing these last two years with her friends and caretakers at Arbrook Nursing Home in Arlington. The fond memories of the many family members and friends who had the privilege of Norma touching their lives are of a lady who demonstrated God's love through her loving, giving, kind and patient actions. Even to her final hours, she was comforting to those around her, never wanting to impose or cause undue hardship on anyone. Norma will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrell Williams. Survivors: Sons, Sherrell Williams Jr. of Wichita, Kan., and Jerry Dale Williams and his wife, Sandy of Pineville, La.; daughter, Charlotte Skinner and husband, Weldon of Arlington; sisters, Freida Novelene Kirbie of Crowley and Larlilyn Jolita Dodson and husband, Doy of Arlington: seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
