Married 1st to Granville Sherman Trowbridge San Angelo Standard-Times, Jan. 12, 1943 Mrs. Mary Frances Brooks Staggs, 78, resident of Tom Green County for 30 years, died yesterday at her home one and 1 half miles east of Carlsbad. She had been in ill health for several years. Funeral services will be conducted today at the family residence. Burial will be in Grape Creek Cemetery under the direction of Vautrain Funeral Home. Survivors are six brothers, George Brooks of Carlsbad, John Brooks of McKinney, Thomas and E. B. Brooks of Terrell, G. H. Brooks of Houston and Sam Brooks of San Angelo; five sisters, Mrs. Sally Webb and Mrs. Lyde Smith of Terrell,, Mrs. Jennie Stewart of Burkburnett, Mrs. Mattie McConnell of Dallas, Mrs. Virgie McMillan of San Angelo; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ben Bunyard of San Angelo.
