Bio

Naomi M. Lantz, of York and formerly of Dover, departed this life on the morning of April 19, 2011. She was the wife of the late Olaf B. "Ollie" Lantz. Born August 24, 1923, in Nampa, Idaho, a daughter of the late Frank and Isabelle (Parrott) Schwasinger. She was retired from Dentsply, where she was also a member of the 25 year Club. Naomi was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, and was a teacher's aid for Saint Paul United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross, Zions View Athletic Association, and the Mount Wolf Senior Center. Mrs. Lantz is survived by a son, Gary D. Lantz, and wife, Doris of Dover; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda C. Landis; five brothers; and five sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. April 22, 2011 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., Manchester, with the Rev. Bradley Rentzel, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
