Faye Ferguson Faye I. Ferguson, 84, of Nampa, died April 16, 1992, at a Caldwell care center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, at Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa. Pastor Lowell Byall of Nampa First United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. Mrs. Ferguson was born February 6, 1908, at Pleasanton, Nebraska, to Franklin M. and Isabelle Schwasinger. At a young age she moved with her family to Nampa where she graduated from Nampa High School in 1928. She married George C. Ferguson on September 28, 1929, at Nampa. Following their marriage they moved to Vale, Oregon, where they farmed for 20 years. In 1964 they moved to a place on the Little Salmon river where they owned and operated a restaurant and motel until ill health forced him to retire. They moved to Parma where George died November 18, 1978. In 1979 she moved to Nampa where she had since resided. She is survived by her son, Dr. George Ferguson of Stockton, CA; three brothers, Willard Schwasinger of Nampa, Melvin Schwasinger of Boise and Ronald Schwasinger of Fruitland, ID; three sisters, Grace Betts of Nampa, Louise Callison of Salem, Oregon, and Naomi Lantz of Dover, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be made to Nampa First United Presbyterian Church, 400 Lake Lowell Ave., Nampa ID 83686; or flowers may be sent.
