Olaf B. "Ollie" Lantz, 83, of Dover Township, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at his home. He was the husband of Naomi M. (Schwasinger) Lantz, to whom he was married for 59 years. The service will be 10 a.m. Monday at William E. Little Funeral Home, 60 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with military rites by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dwayne C. Carter will officiate. Mr. Lantz was born March 1, 1919, in Criders, Va. He was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Martha R. (Dove) Lantz. He worked for Certain-Teed, retiring after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of Certain-Teed's 25-year club, Shiloh American Legion Post 791, Dover Township Fire Company and Dover Fire Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Lantz also is survived by a son, Gary D. Lantz of Dover; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Lantz was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda C. Landis.
