Bio

Vincent married Vlasta Kruppa in 1900. They had 3 children: Marie Vlasta Blaschke (1906-2002); Emil F. (1902-1983) and George J. (1905-1970). After Vincent died in 1906, his widow married Ignac Steve Cernosek on 12 Nov 1912. From The Schulenburg Sticker, 16 Aug 1906 Mr. Vince Vacek, brother of our fellowtownsman [sic], Mr. Emil Vacek, died at his home in Dime Box, Lee County, last Wednesday, Aug. 8th and his remains were shipped to Schulenburg and conveyed to the Ammannville [sic] cemetery Thursday last where they were interred. Rev. Father Kacer of Cameron and Rev. Father Horacek of Bluff officiating at the grave. Mr. Vacek leaves a wife and two childern [sic] and four brothers to mourn his untimely demise. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the sorrowing ones.
