Cleburne Times Review Sunday, December 10, 1989 Edna G. Jenkins Services for Edna G. Jenkins, 91, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Dec. 10 in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Payne officiating. Burial will be in Cedron Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lennox Shelton, Bill Thetford, T.S. Cannon, Keith McIntyre, Kenneth Cudd and Albert Archer. Mrs. Jenkins died Dec. 8 in Walls Regional Hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1898, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Sam and Sarah Shelly Wood. She was married to Claude Jenkins who preceded her in death. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include on daughter, Mrs. Claudia Archer of Cleburne; one brother, Clessie Wood of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; six great-granchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter , Louise Stapp, and one grandson, both whom died in 1946. Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
