Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, April 10, 1975 MRS. ALDA BROWN Mrs. Alda Brown, 79, of Whitney died Sunday, April 6. She was born May 10, 1895 in Arkansas and had resided in Whitney since she was eight years of age. She married Luther Brown December 20, 1914. She was a Baptist. Funeral services were held at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Whitney with Rev. C.M. Huff officiating. Burial was at the Peoria Cemetery.
