Hillsboro Reporter Thursday, August 3, 1978 MRS. DONZIE DeARMON Mrs. Donzie DeArmon, 92, of Whitney died Friday morning, July 28, in a Whitney hospital. Mrs. DeArmon was born in Gravette, Arkansas and moved to Texas at age 18. She married Lacy D. DeArmon January 2, 1910. She was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Whitney. She is survived by her husband, Lacy D. DeArmon, three brothers, Lee Wood, Sam Wood, and Clessie Wood all of Fort Worth, two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Bromley of Munday and Mrs. Edna Jenkins of Cleburne, three daughters, Mrs. Belle Gallihar of Fort Worth, Mrs. R. V. (Dallie) Ripley and Mrs. Fuller (Bessie) Reid of Blum, 10 grandchildren, and 17, great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday July 30 in Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney, the Revs. Earl Hall and Calvin Halbert officiating. Burial was at Heath Cemetery.
