Allyne McLane CHILDRESS, Texas - Allyne Scarbrough McLane, 75, died Tuesday in a Childress hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Methodist Church with the Rev. Kerry Hurst, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. McLane was born Sept. 22, 1920, in Cottle County. He [sic] had lived in Childress since 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She and Henry McLane were married Oct. 17, 1941, in Acme, Texas. He died in 1992. Survivors include two sisters, Lois Thomas of Childress and Inez Cates of Dalhart, Texas; two brothers, L.C. Scarbrough of Quanah, Texas, and Raymond Scarbrough of Snyder, Texas.
