CHILDRESS - Lois A. Thomas, 88, died Saturday, June 8, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Norman Rushing and Mickey Howell, godson, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Thomas was born April 7, 1914, in Kirkland. She had been a Childress resident since 1950. Survivors include her godson of Fort Worth; and two brothers of Quanah and of Snyder. Amarillo Globe-News, June 11, 2002
