Bio
Presumed to be the same person as the "Wright Justice Fields", who was actually born about 1848, not 1841 as shown on this tombstone. "Wright J" or "Justic W" appears with the Green H. Fields and Celia Jernigan family on the 1850 Carroll County TN census age 2, the 1860 Collin County TX census age 12, and the 1870 Grayson County TX census age 22. "R. J. Fields" marries Martha McMennamy 24 Sep 1874 in Collin County TX. Their only child, son James Rite Fields, had been born the previous year in December 1 1873. The family has not been found on the 1880 census, and both parents die young. Their son James Rite Fields never marries or has children, and is found living with various cousins, still in Collin County TX. He is buried in the same cemetery as his parents.
