Wednesday, August 4, 1976 Services for TOM STICE (THOMAS GEORGE JEFFERSON STICE),72, retired Van Alstyne carpenter, who died Wednesday at his home will be held at Flesher Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Bob Milligan. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Born at Melissa, he was a son of Mr. & Mrs. George J. Stice & married Rena Blackerby on Jan 12 1946 at Rockwall. Mrs. Stice died last April 5. Mr. Stice was a member of Elmont Baptist Church & a World War 1 veteran. Surviving are sisters; Mrs. Willie Knox of McKinney, Mrs. Ona Rollins of Anna ; brothers, John Stice of McKinney ; half sisters, Mrs. Verline McCoy, Mrs. Winnie Covington & Mrs. Mildred Perry, all of Anna, Mrs. Jeanette Goodwin of Dallas & Mrs. Lennie Holland of McKinney ; half brothers, Weldon Stice of Sherman and Joseph L. Stice of Dallas.
