Courier-Gazette, McKinney, TX., April 4, 1976 p3 MRS. RENA MAE STICE, 71, of Van Alstyne died 10:50 p.m. Monday in McKinney hospital. She was born March 24, 1905 in OK., the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Blackerby. She was a member of the Elmont Baptist Church. She married Tom Stice, Jan 12, 1946 in Rockwall. She is survived by her husband of Van Alstyne ; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Rains of Van Alstyne , Mrs. Eunice Watson of Dekalb. Funeral services will be held Wed. in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Milligan officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Rena Mae (Blackerby) Stice died April 5, 1976.
