Sherman (TX) Democrat, May 11, 1984 Anna - Services for JOHN lOUIS STICE, 79 year old Anna farmer who died Thursday at Wysong Hospital in McKinney will be held at 2 p.m. Sat. at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Robert Helsley & Rev. Paul E. Evans will officiate. Born in Anna, he was a son of Mr. & Mrs. George Jefferson Stice & married Thelma Jones on March 18, 1932 in McKinney.He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife ; son, John L. Stice, Jr. of McKinney ; sisters, Mrs. Ona Rollins, Mrs. Verline McCoy & Mrs. Winnie Mae Culver, all of Anna , Mrs. Lennie Holland of McKinney & Mrs. Mildred Blackey of Dallas ; brother, Weldon Stice of Sherman & two grandchildren. Pallbearers : Troy Knox, John Knox, Larry Rollins, Bill Loftice, J. D. Rollins, Jr., & Louie Harris.
