+ George C. Ferguson NAMPA — Services for George C. Ferguson. 75. Route 2. Parma, who died Saturday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Alsip Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert Ball, Roswell Sterry Memorial Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Kohlerlawn Cemetery. He was born Dec. 1, 1902, at Taylorville, Ill., and moved west with his family when he was 11. He was reared and educated in Homedale and Wilder. He married Faye Schwasinger Sept. 28, 1929, at Nampa, and they moved to a farm at Vale, Ore. They farmed for 20 years and he sold Farm Bureau insurance for a short time. They owned and operated a restaurant and motel on the Little Salmon River from 1964 until retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church, Caldwell, the Vale Grange and the Eastern Oregon Hereford Breeders Association." Surviving are his wife of Parma; a son, Dr. George Ferguson of Stockton, Calif.: a brother, Kenneth Ferguson of Redwood City, Calif.: three sisters, Golden Hooper of Ontario, Ore., Lucinda Gordon of Fremont, Calif., and Othelle Hisey of Moses Lake, Wash.; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
