PFC US ARMY WORLD WAR II Jimmy Haskel Butler born January 18, 1919 at Healdton, OK. Passed away on June 9, 2003. Jimmy was a graduate of Ringling High School. After graduation he worked in the field for several years as a roughneck, before retiring from tinker field in 1979. Jimmy served in World War II as a MP. He was a member of Pink Baptist Church in Tecumseh and a former member of the Little Axe School Board. He participated in the Sr. Olympics for several years winning first in many events. He also enjoyed all kinds of sports including horseback riding, swimming, bicycling and was a former marathon runner. He is survived by his wife Nancy Butler; one son, Gordon Butler of Norman; one daughter Karen Pringle and husband Mark of Tecumseh; three stepsons Claude Kendrik of Midwest City; Paul and wife Sherry Kendrik of Skiatook, OK; Danny Kendrik of OKC; three grandchildren Taralee Pringle of Mayfield, KY; Travis Pringle and wife Kimberly of Shawnee, OK; Timber Pringle of Tecumseh, OK; along with numerous step grandchildren; two brothers Alfred Butler and wife Jo of Ardmore, OK; Walter Butler of Walters, OK; two half brothers Gary Butler and Lonnie Butler; sister in law Mary Butler of Lawton; brother in law Lawerence Jobe of Del City, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Elmer Canada Butler and Lillie Mae Butler Shelton; four brothers Dale C. Butler, Elmore (Buck) Butler, Paul Butler, and George Butler; two sisters Mary Marley and Lillian Jobe. Services will be held 1:00PM Friday June 13, 2003 at the Church of Jesus Christ in Ringling, OK. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services under the direction of John M.
