Bio

John A. Darilek, 76, longtime Megargel resident moved to Megargel with his family in 1902. He was a farmer and member of the Catholic Church. He was a member of the KJT Lodge #77 of Megargel. He married in 1921 at Megargel to Christiana Nuegebauer. Survived by his wife; four sons - Victor, Edwin, Frank and Wesley Darilek; three daughters - Mrs. Joseph E. Lane, Mrs. J.E. Ward and Mrs. H.J. Schmacher; three brothers - J.J., R.A. and Frank Darilek; two sisters - Mrs. Rosa Cuba and Mrs. Mary Wilson; 25 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
