Archer Co., Texas Cemeteries Megargel Cemetery (Catholic Section) Death Claims John Darilek of Megargel John Darilek, prominent farmer of Megargel, died late Monday at his home,of a heart ailment. He was 79 years old and had lived in Archer County since 1910. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Catholic Church in Megargel with Father Mosler, Seymour, officiating. Burial was in the Megargel cemetery, under direction of Lunn Funeral Home. Darilek was born in Czechoslovakia Nov. 28, 1867, and came to America as a boy nine years old. He settled in the Megargel community 36 years ago and became well known in this section as a grain grower. Surviving are his widow, whom he married at Yoakum in 1895; two daughters, Mrs. Rosie Cuba of Megargel and Mrs. Mary Donak of Taylor; four sons, John, Rudolph and Frank, all of Megargel, and Jimmie Darilek of Olney; and a brother V. J. Dariley [Darilek] of Megargel.
