Bio

Per her obit in Waco Tribune Herald: Services at First Baptist Church of Crawford. Parents: Homer Hudson Darby and Rosa Ella Billings Darby. She attended school at Coon Creek. Married Jessie Wade Abel 2 Dec. 1934 in Waco. She is survived by 2 daughters and one son. Mrs. Abel was instrumental in organizing Crawford Senior Program and served as secretary for many years. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church where she served in many areas.
