Funeral services for Mrs. Edna McHenry, 60, of Columbia, who died Thursday in Glenwood hospital in W. Monroe, was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Columbia. The Rev. Jimmy Bolton, pastor, officiated and burial followed at the Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. McHenry was a practical nurse and had been employed at the Caldwell Hospital, but had been ill for quite some time. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tilden Butler of the Mt. Pleasant community, west of Columbia, where she was reared. Survivors include her husband, Doyle McHenry of Columbia Eastside; one son, J. D. McHenry, Jr., of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Aldridge, West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Meredith of Alexandria and Mrs. Lucille Fisher of West Monroe and 7 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Rodney Chapman, J. B. Chapman, Bobby Lee, Lance Arthur, J. C. Harris, W. M. McElroy, Henry Kyle, W. B. Kelly and H. B. Smith.
