Bio
Born on November 15, 1907 in Celina Tn, Clay county to elisha joe and Nellie Florence Atkins. He moved to Texas on September 11, 1919 where he lived in tombean for two years after which his family lived in Howe. In 1926 His brother James Bedford died of Tuberculosis. In 1927 His Brother Samuel Taylor died of a Fractured skull at St. Vincents Hospital in Sherman. In 1933 he Married Ivy may Presley in Mckinney Texas. He had three children, Rusty, Alton and James paul Atkins.
