Bio
Daughter of Sarah Sally Thacker and Archibald Bel Dyer. Nellie could have been born in as early as 1872 but since she did not know her birth date or year she celebrated her birthdate the same day as her Lifelong husband until his death in 1939, Elisha Atkins whom was born February 14, 1874. In the 1900 census she states she has 3 children total two living, those tow children would have been at this time James B and Joe Lee. She Married in 1895 and was the mother of children from the years of 1898 to her last one which was Jane in 1916. In 1926, 1927 and 1944 she would lose three of her sons to Tb and one to violent Mishap. A fourth son would proceed her in 1962. in 1960 she died at the home of her son Johnny near Weston Texas.
