THIEMANN Rose B. Thiemann, daughter of James and Mary Grahner Mach, was born March 27, 1889, and departed this life at her home in Pawnee City on Jan. 26, 1966, at the age of 76 years and 10 months. She grew to womanhood on her parents' farm in the Humboldt-DuBois vicinity. She ws baptized at an early age and confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and was received into the United Presbyterian church in Pawnee City as a young woman. In the year 1923 her membership was transferred to the Pleasant Valley Evangelical United Brethren church where it remained until the church closed recently. She was married to William E. Thiemann o March 20, 1912, in Pawnee City, and to this union three children were born. They established their home in the West Branch community, later moving to a farm near the state line where they lived 41 years. They retired to their home in Pawnee City in 1960. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on March 20, 1962. Mrs. Thiemann was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers,: Gustav and Frank Mach; and one sister: Mary Storant. She is survived by her husband, William; two sons: Melvin of Norfolk, and Willard of Pawnee City; one daughter: Mrs. Paul Holechek of Humboldt; six grandchildren; three brothers: James, Chester and Joe; three sisters: Mrs. Jessie Mach of Prague, Mrs. Anna Vrtiska and Mrs. Elizabeth Krikava of Pawnee City; and many other relatives and friends.
