Gainesville Sun, page 8C, Wednesday, December 14, 1977 (Gainesville, Florida) Obituaries Frank T. Hobbs Frank T. Hobbs of 1016 NW Terrace died suddenly Monday at a Gainesville Hospital. He was 61. A native of Stewart County, Georgia, Mr. Hobbs was a developer, real estate associate and retired owner of Hobbs Banana Co. He was an Episcopalian and a 32nd degree Mason. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Helen Hobbs; a daughter, Linda Bogart of Gainesville; three sons, Richard Hobbs of La Grange, Georgia, Steve Hobbs of Gainesville and Bill Hobbs of Gainesville; two brothers, B.C. Hobbs of Nashville, Tennessee, and R.E. Hobbs of Columbus, Georgia; and four grandchildren. Funeral Notices Hobbs, Mr. Frank T.--Funeral services for Mr. Hobbs, age 61, real estate associate & retired owner of Hobbs Banana Co., will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 1977 at Williams Thomas Chapel of the Chimes with rev. Walter T. Saffran conducting the services. Burial will be under the care of the William Thomas Funeral Home, 404 N. Main St. Mr. Hobbs who lived at 1016 NW 112th Terrace, died Monday, December 12, 1977 unexpectedly. Please omit flowers and send contributions to the Memorial Fund at St. Micheals Episcopal Church.
