Blanchard Clinton "B.C." Hobbs was the son of Cicero Cyril Hobbs Sr. and Margaret Edna "Maggie" Wright. He was the husband of Eloise Poole. OBIT: HOBBS, Blanchard Clinton, Sr.--October 9, 1983. survived by wife, Mrs. Eloise Poole Hobbs; son, Clinton Hobbs, Jr.; daughters, Mrs. Patricia Ann White, all of Nashville, Mrs. Brenda Hobbs Laden, Savannah, TN; four grandchildren; brother R.E. Hobbs, Lumpkin, Georgia. His remains are at Broadway Chapel, 1715 Broadway, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11:30 o'clock with Walter C. Leaver officiating. Interment Harpeth Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Thomas Vurchan, Howard Hale, James Robinson, William Duke, James E. Adams, Malcom Drennon, Carl Hartman and Reid Broomes.
